The Secret Service veteran who discovered a South Africa classified nuclear program passes away

81 years old recon agent Alexei Kozlov died in Moscow. He was the one who gathered information about nuclear program plans of the Republic of South Africa in the late 1970s. He was 81 years old. The sad news was announced by Sergei Ivanov, the head of TASS press office of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

“This high-class professional, a brave man, he was a friend and a mentor for many of us” – says Ivanov.
