Permanent representative of North Korea to the UN, So Se Pyong, called the intention of US Presidential candidate Donald trump to hold talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN in case of his election victory “propaganda or advertisement for the election race,” reports Reuters.
“This is just to score points in the presidential race, a kind of propaganda or advertising. There would be no point, there’s no sincerity,” the diplomat said.
In his opinion, the right to decide about the meeting in any case is up to the North Korean leader. He called the arguments of the Republican nonsense.
Earlier, on May 18, Trump expressed a desire to talk with Kim Jong-UN, noting that he would try to appeal to reason. The topic of conversation should be the nuclear disarmament of North Korea.
