According to information from inoSMI sources in the US and European intelligence services, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of the terrorist organization “Al Qaeda” intends to redeploy their fighters on Syrian territory, and he will be helped by the “Jabhat al-Nusra” group, reports New York Times.
According to a source, plans by the “management” of “Al-Qaeda” indicate growing interest by the terrorist organization in Syria that in the future, it can lead to strengthening of the bloody fight against the ISIL.
The source considers that the interest of “Al-Qaeda” in Syria is connected with the huge opportunity that the presence of militant groups in that country presents. Because the terrorists will be so close to Europe, it will be easier for them to enlist Iranians, Turks, Jordanians and Lebanese. As noted in that edition of the New York Times newspaper, the most reliable and prepared fighters of group were thrown on the territory of Syria.
